Monthly Energy hub is useful to understand everything involving energy like generation, consumption, max current, voltage and power uptime. Analyzing the trends of this data over a month, or even many months, can help indicate if your system generates too little or consumes too much. For example, over 12 months you can see the seasons where your generation will be less which could result in max currents, consumption and possibly power uptime decreasing as well.

Power Uptime

Power uptime reflects if your loads had any unexpected outages. Its calculated by determining how long the load was scheduled to be on and comparing it to how long the load was actually on. For example, if the load was scheduled to be on for 20hrs but was actually on for 18hrs then the power uptime would be 90%.

Night Battery Voltage

The night battery voltage is sampled when the battery has cooled after charging and is typically measured under load. A consistent night battery voltage maintained over time indicates that the system is properly sized for the loads it is powering.

Generated Max Current

The Maximum Current of a solar panel is a valuable indicator of the panel's peak energy generation capacity. By monitoring the max current, you can gain insights into the overall health and performance of your solar panels. A decrease in max current may be an indication of shading, damage to the panel, or cloudy weather conditions, which can impact the amount of energy generated. This information can help you identify and address potential issues, optimizing your solar panel system's efficiency and maximizing your energy output.
